Infant Baptism
The West Bend/Newburg cluster provides an opportunity for parents and godparents to attend a Baptismal preparation session prior to the reception of the Sacrament. The session will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the odd months from 6:30-9:00PM.
The session is NOT just about the moment of Baptism because Baptism is NOT just about one moment. Baptism is a lifetime sacrament. It happens once but it is about the rest of our lives. Parents at Baptism your child is a Christian but your child, like all of us, becomes a Christian as the years unfold. What a privileged and challenging responsibility you have.

Adult Baptism
RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a spiritual journey of faith for those who wish to become Catholic. This rite of the Catholic Church is for those who have not yet been baptized. The RCIA is more than a simple process of pouring the water and saying the words of Baptism. It is a time of inquiry, discovering where God is calling the individual. This process is also a time of learning what the Catholic Church is all about and how to live as a Catholic Christian. It is a time of preparation for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The RCIA process is a time of spiritual growth.
If you are being "tapped on the shoulder" by God to begin or continue your spiritual journey through the RCIA process email Terri Schiller tmschiller@stmaryparishwb.org or call 338-5600.
The process at St. Mary's is ongoing, so now is a good time to begin.
